Lapsang Souchong is an excellent black tea with a history over 400 years. Some people even call it the originator of black tea. Xingcun Village used to be the planting centre of Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong. Accordingly, Lapsang Souchong was also called “Xingcun Souchong” in history. It is the most popular tea in the UK, first appeared in the market during 16-17 centuries. It was specially delivered to the royal house. In England it is usually served with smoked meat, cheese and bakery.

Take 6-8 grams of dry tea and add boiled water 90-95°C, brew for 2 seconds. Immediately pour off this water and brew again with hot water 90-95°C for 3-4 seconds for the first infusion. For every following infusion increase the time for 3 seconds. The tea can be brewed up to 5-6 times.
