Gui Fei tea is a relatively new sort of tea, which appeared on the market about fifteen years ago. This sort is harvested and produced in a nature reserve Lugu area, Nantou country. To produce this tea only special leaves which were slightly bitten by cicadas are used. Gui Fei is prepared using the same technology as for Dong Fang Mei Ren, the only difference is that for the final stage the tea leaves are twisted into small balls and then slightly fried on charcoal heat.

Take 6 grams of dry tea and add 100 ml of boiled water 95°C, brew for 4 seconds. Immediately pour off this water and brew again with hot water 95°C for 4-5 seconds for the first infusion. For every following infusion increase the time for 3 seconds. The tea can be brewed up to 10 times.
This tea is good to lower cholesterol level in blood, aids metabolism processes, can help to reduce formation of cancer cells, has a positive calming effect, good for brain activities
